As an ADA, Patrick Donovan worked in the Quincy District Court, Stoughton District Court, and Dedham District Courts as well as prosecuting cases in the Norfolk County Superior Court. As an assistant district attorney, Patrick Donovan handled thousands of criminal cases, which gave him extensive experience in criminal law. He prosecuted many cases involving drunk driving, domestic violence, and countless drug and theft-related offenses.

Attorney Patrick Donovan served on the Norfolk County District Attorney’s White Collar Crime Unit. That is where he prosecuted many very complex white collar crimes. As a white-collar prosecutor, Patrick worked closely with the Insurance Fraud Bureau, the Massachusetts State Police, various other agencies, as well a number of local police departments.
